1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Genetic Wellbeing services at geneticwellbeing.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Genetic Wellbeing provides personalized wellness services including:

• Genetic testing kits and DNA analysis
• Personalized wellness reports and supplement protocols
• 1-on-1 consultations
• Gut health and microbiome testing
• Educational health content

4. Orders and Payment

• All prices are in USD. Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
• Orders are confirmed upon successful payment. Kit shipping typically occurs within 1–2 business days.
• Results are delivered within 7–10 business days of laboratory receipt of your sample.

5. Refund Policy

• Kit not yet returned: Full refund available within 30 days of purchase if kit has not been used.
• Sample submitted: No refund once your sample has been received by the laboratory, as processing has begun.
• Consultations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.

6. Genetic Information & Laboratory Services

DNA sample processing is performed by GeneMetrics, a CLIA-certified laboratory. By submitting a sample, you agree to GeneMetrics' terms of service and consent to the processing of your genetic material for the purposes of wellness analysis.

You represent that you are the individual whose genetic material is submitted, or that you have legal authority to submit another person's sample (such as a minor in your care).

7. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be 18 years or older to create an account and purchase services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on geneticwellbeing.com — including text, images, logos, and software — is the property of Genetic Wellbeing or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Your personal wellness reports and protocol recommendations are provided to you for personal use only and may not be redistributed or sold.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Genetic Wellbeing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Illinois.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
